SHAPE QLD team raise $10,500 cycling for cancer

26 September 2011

Last month four avid SHAPE cyclists raised $10,500 in the first ever Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer.

The two day Queensland event provides much needed funds for the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, one of the largest research institutes in Australia and required each of the 2,000 participants to raise $2,500 each to enter.

Congratulations to the team for their fundraising efforts and their endurance.
