University of Queensland Robotics Design Studio

Delivering a space for robot and drone testing

SHAPE loves to be at the forefront of technology and design so building a space for robot and drone testing was right up our alley. University of Queensland (UQ) required an unobtrusive fitout, where function came before form.

SHAPE delivered an outdoor structural compound to provide an enclosed space to fly drones and robotics on the roof of level four and an interior cosmetic refurbishment of kitchen and work areas which were constructed to comply with specific laboratory requirements.
