University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury

Meticulous machinery planning is a must.

SHAPE was contracted by the University of Western Sydney to upgrade their existing laboratories in building M8 in order to facilitate the integration and efficient management of a new $2.5m state-of-the-art materials testings/research machine. The university wanted to maintain and showcase their reputation as a leading tertiary education institution and wanted SHAPE to focus on minimal machinery disruption and defects.

The university wanted to accommodate the team responsible for the operation of the testing machinery as soon as possible. There were large concerns for time and budgetary constraints, as well as the need for minimal disruption to the machinery. SHAPE focused on minimising defects and careful planning to meet the needs of the university.
