Adelaide Dental Hospital Aged Care Clinic

New dental clinic provides a teaching space that was created especially for aged care patients

SHAPE was engaged by South Australia Health to convert an existing laboratory and adjacent offices into a dental teaching clinic for aged care patients and include a new office accommodation. The refurbishment of the space also required for services reticulation and equipment installation. With works taking place in a tenanted building, SHAPE needed to assist in managing the other tenants in the building with regard to staging work around them. SHAPE was limited by the lack of access to the clinic on the floor below. Due to the nature of the refurbishment, the clinic had very complex services running through the space. SHAPE worked around the surrounding tenancies to ensure they experienced no disruption to their daily operations, while not compromising the refurbishment either.
